Mass Effect 1-3, any thing related to the series thread.

Honestly I am sort of surprise that I didn't find a thread about this series{if there is one, shame on me. XD} With the much anticipated third installment being released on the 6th. What is everyone's opinions and experiences playing this series?

I've played both on the 360 and found each game to be quite enjoyable. Really love the data transfer and how actions in previous games can have consequences and extra dialog in future games.

That's one cute issue.

I don't really get Mass Effect's gameplay, but I'd like to see how this would fare against the disappointing sequel to Dragon Age: Origins.

I finished Mass Effect 3. It does indeed end Shepard's part of the series but I didn't hate it. The game up that point was really good and that part is still fine. It has some questions hanging in the air, as we're missing some scenes when the remainder of the crew is off screen that would reveal why the Normandy is doing what it's doing in the ending sequences, but an ending doesn't need to tie up everything in a neat little package.

I picked the "Green" ending and I quite liked its implications. I thought it was suitable extreme to the theme from the rest of the game, but I can't say more without spoilers.
