Final Fantasy VI/III for DS?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has heard if they were bringing Final Fantasy 6/3 to the DS. Its my favorite FF maybe next to Tactics and 7, it had a lot of good qualitys about it and Kefka is argubaly the best villain next to Sephiroth. FFIII for SNES is a classic and recieved so much buzz that they brought it back as FF6 on FF Anthology for the original PS. Sabin was my favorite character I'd love to play as him with some better graphics.

They remade it for GBA, I dont know if they plan to bring it on DS, too.

The team that had been working on the FF3 and FF4 remakes for the DS has just released Avalon Code for the DS. Since they were taken off remakes to design their own game it seems unlikely that Squeenix is planning on continuing the trend of remaking all the games in 3D for the DS. Which is a shame becasue FFIV for the DS is my favourite DS game.

Yes, final fantasy 6 was brought to the GBA about a year ago. They won't redo it I don't think.

However, if you like the team that redid FF 3 and 4 for the DS, they're called Matrix and they just released an RPG for the DS...check it here:

I never really played the GBA maybe just for pokemon, years ago. Are those games compatiable for the DS (the bottom slot?). Oppenheimer you hit that nail right on the head, FFIV for the DS is awesome probaly the best remake of a game that I ever played. I had no idea that they could make it more difficult than the original. Two things off topic but tell me Kain's voice isn't awesome lol and did you beat the optional Babil Monster, I was at Level 99 with all the best equipment and I still was wiped out in minuets. Thanks I'm going to have to check those games out I need a new RPG for my DS, I played FFIII, FFIV, Chrono Trigger, and Tierkreis anything else really worth playing?

You've never played the GBA and don't know that the second slot on the DS is for the GBA games? Lol, yeah it's for GBA games dude. And you can get FF6 for the GBA and play it on the DS.

Yeah I'm 23 and when the GBA came out I played pokemon for a little while but was more into my playstation playing SI and SII back then. I'm going to have to check that game out and see if its as good as the original.

No, but again, FF V has been ported to the GBA.
