psx rpg reccomendation

thanks, yeah i used to have alundra 2. terrible game!!!
they have absolutely nothing in common.

i'm thinking i'll start either the star ocean series or the lunar series.
i wish i had a psp so i could play the first star ocean.

right now i'm playing beyond the beyond, but i'm getting pretty angry because all of a sudden the game keeps freezing every time i enter the dungeon i'm on! it wasn't doing this a couple days ago, and i don't know what to do. i might have to shell out five dollars in order to get the disc cleaned. *sigh*

I like Parasite Eve and its sequel, but it's more of an action RPG

Xenogears, Chrono Cross and Star Ocean 2 are all excellent games in my opinion. Vagrant Story is nice too, but have an awkward weapon/combat system.

My favorite of those would probably be Chrono Cross. It would make me very pleased if it was re-released to the DS just like Chrono Trigger was recently.
