im re-starting the game and following this walkthrough for the recruitment ... but still quite confused because the page is in jap and the translation is too direct

i got through the soup tasting event ( i assume it is the event ) where i talked to the owner of teha inn and watsam face appear ( he converses ) although he cant be seen on the screen

and if i were to fight him, where is he standing ? as in which part of the icy mountain ...

Whoa, you actually restarted the game for just one recruit? Should have completed at least one im-108-perfect game, to see the not-so-perfect ending, IMO.

Supposedly Wastam will put up a quest once you've completed the subevent in Teha. Complete that one.

As for Rubais, I don't recall doing anything special for him. I did run into him in Grayridge and later Teha when the plot took me to those places, but that's it. One day he simply appeared in the HQ, all ready to be part of the army.

Orta: Send characters with Speed and Luck stats no less than 100 on his quest.

Hina: Once the pirate trio is recruited, speak with Shabak to open up Hina's quest. Complete it.

1. Nofret

This woman is in whatever remained of the research facility in Janam. Remember that the plot took you to the lowest underground room twice, she is the room located on the second lowest floor. If she's not there, avoid bringing anybody from the Janam Empire. Speak to her, and trigger a sub-event. She'll put up a quest, and complete it with characters that have high stats (Phys Atk?). Once done, go back to her.

2. Gilliam - who to dispatch for his quest ?

This guy was a royal pain for me. Send your best people, and make sure you get a complete victory (instead of the 100-potch easy victory). Then speak to him again in Grayridge.

3. Sorou - is he at the roof of Fort Arc ?

Yep. Bring Sven (his girlfriend) and keep searching. The roof mentioned must be accessed from the inner paths entered from either the north or south direction. East or west net you item, but you can't get to this roof.

4. Kehren and Beremul

These people are in the lone ruins in the desert. Kefren joins you temporarily, then simply fully explore the ruins to run into Beremuel and complete the sequence.

5. Myun Tsuan - cant seem to find her ><"

I got her in Fort Arc with Lu, but I'm not too sure about this one ATM, so I'll need to check.

I've covered a few of these earlier in the topic, so you might want to check them out.

Megion, Eusmil, Niktis - Go to the ruins in Marsinah Plains, via the secret exit from Ch'olui Mountains. Meet up with them, and they'll put up a Quest. Complete the Quest.

Enemcrau - He puts up a series of Quests, so complete them all. The last Quest can only be completed after the event in Larohenga though.

Zain - After the event in Larohenga, bring Balzam and Yard to the ruins in the same area. Enter the deepest part of the ruins to trigger an event.

Tsaubern - Meet him in Salsabil, then complete the Quest that he submits.

Tigul - Must have recruited Chain. After rescuing Sophia, bring Diulf to Cragbark square and speak to him

Yomi, Chihaya - Trigger the event in Lugienic. Complete their Quest, and speak to them in Grayridge.

Mulgent - Must have recruited Yula. After the defense at Pharamond, do not have any of the Night Fencers or Yula in your party to trigger an event in their room in the HQ. Complete the Quest.

Lufa - After the Larohenga event, accept the Quest to search for people in the nearby ruins and complete it. You will also get Koh Ro with her.

Hao Shi - After the Larohenga event, take Liu to the Scribes' Village. Speak to him a few times through the changing dialogues. Once done, he will put up a new Quest, and complete it.

i didn't do that, after i clearing for first time, i keep going to Naineneis..
i cannot trigger any event after forge an alliance with porpos-kin..
am i missing something?
