Is there a rune to reduce or remove random battles?

I was just wondering coz I can't remember if there was such a rune on all previous Suikoden, can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

champion rune, it makes it so you dont encounter any enemies that would be release instead of retreat(so tehre really weak)
you get it in a later dungeon

No. supposedlyy it's the big hole dungeon but I've spent a good ten minutes looking and I still can't find the stupid thing.

i found it quite easily, its defintly there, am sure it was inside the orange temple thing where jeanne does something, try going far left inside one of the parts and run up some stairs and search at the bak its a dark area and is a misable chest i think.

it's in the giant hole where you take jeane to go retrive her lost thing. just go to the far left side and you'll see a set of stairs go up and the chest it on the upper right side.

Ok I got it now, boy do I feel silly, I had gone to that spot and thought there would be a chest there but I could never find it before. I didn't look hard enough it seems.
