Enemies with goodies

Post by killey »

So just post any good rewards you get from enemy encounters (not bosses).

I'm not 100% sure on names:

Blade Bunnies - Near Stormfist and other early ares - Counter Orbs

Boar type enemies - Near Stormfist/Lunas etc - Power Pieces

Ulse type enemies - Near HQ etc - Violence Pieces

Furball (a big one) - Near Lordlake - Sunbeam Pieces

Large Spiders - Big Hole/Near Rainwell - Poison Orbs

Huge Legs - Big Hole - Venom Orbs

Dragonfly type enemies - Mountain Path - Great Firefly Pieces

Ghost Shields and Embryos - Ceras Lake Ruins - Steel Pieces

Salamanders - Ranro Mountain - Water Sealing Pieces and Fire Dragon Armor (+84 PDF, +1 Fire, -1 Water)

Edit: My mistake, the Rockadillos drop Sunbeam Pieces. It's the Killer Bald Eagles that drop the Equilibrium pieces.

But I have to warn everyone, it's rare that they drop them. I've spent a few hours leveling up near Sable and the mountain, and I've only managed to make one Equilibrium rune.

But it's worth it. It looks like it can be attatched to any rune slot. I'll probably be using members with special attack runes, now.

Is that like a balance rune?

And fighting Salamanders is the best the armour they always drop is incredibly useful.

Yes, that's the new name for the Balance Rune. Belcoot now destroys planets. I hope I see someone else with a similar attack rune.

Which Salamanders are you talking about? I remember a few salamanders but they never dropped anything for me.

The Area boss dragon (Fire Dragon) in the Sable Mountains drops Fire Dragon Armor too.

I'm surprised none of you mentioned Bone Soldiers. They drop Double-Edged, formerly Double-Strike, Orbs.
I hope everything is going delicious.

I was just about to mention that since I've just finished the western ruins.

Also Killer Bunnies (I think that's what they're called) drop Killer Runes.

Theres a fight in the final room of Eresh's Underground Ruins which is against a unicorn on fire, I was only able to fight it once but it dropped a Blood Scale Mail (I think), which was over 100 def and +5 to all attributes but it drained health at the end of each turn.

Man Eating Bat (near dwarf camp) - drain piece
Mad Condor (near sable) - Feather Ornament
Huge Legs (in adition to the venom orb already mentioned) Long Boots
Purple Creeper (near dwarf camp) - Creeper Beads, ?Bonsi
Razerback - Power Piece, Marbled Beef, Power Belt.
Vampire Bat - Drain Piece
Tarantula (in adition to the eyeball ring already mentioned) Venom Orb
Alovo Pesto (near sable) - Great Firefly Piece
Bandit - ? Painting
Zombi - Magic Absorb Piece
Assassin - Crazed Orb
Siren (near the city with the windmills) - Turbine Shells, Abalone
Giant Snake (atacks you at your HQ) - Howling Orb

The only question I have is why would a razorback pig drop marbled beef?

The way I figure it, they (the party) cuts up the razorback for the meat.

I also found a Prosperity peice from a Blade bunny, it was from a party with a White Blade Bunny and Gold, so the gold one may have been the one to drop it.

I saw a Unicorn once too, but it was in the first part of the Underground Ruins. For me, he did drop the Unicorn Orb.
