Loading Data at the beginning of Suikoden V

I would like to know if before you start Suikoden V do you load any game data from any previous games. I know this may have been asked pre-release but now people have the game there should be some concrete answers.

this was asked on suikox and they said you can't upload game data.

I went and checked the boards at suikox and this is what i found:

Just played the game and there isn't that option...I'm saddened myself but oh wells...=\

I think that answer the question is a definite no.

Lets hope for a game like tactics to go along with suikoden 5 in order to get our data loading fix.
