Now i'm at the point where i have defended Raftfleet,and i've been to Haud Village to recruit Cornelio (and Josephine too)...although i guessed that Cornelio's house should be the big one,above the place you reqruited Josephine,but it's empty...where is he?

He is kind of in the middle of the village. When you walk in front of the house you will hear the Doremi Elfs

I can hear them...but he is not there

Highly possible that you're on a certain mission so recruitable chars won't appear or won't trigger the event to recruit them until you finish it. Remember how characters like tetsu,bob...in S2 dissapear if you were on your way to do greenhill mission?

Try to check again if you've done with any unfinished business too( talk to Salum or Lucretia or Raja? or have to go sleep?)

Well i haven't played S2 for ages,so i don't remember it...

But on the other hand i have recruited Josephine and Shinro,whilst i had to go back to Rainwall to report Salum for the defence of Raftfleet.

By the way as i read in the walkthrough at this point of game i can recruit Eggbert and Takamu....but Logg and Lun are not available at the shore to take me to the Agate Prison....what's going on?

You probably just need to report to Salum first

Conclusion: Josephine is the source of all this trouble. The fact that she can be recruited even if you're on a mission makes you think that you can also recruit the other SODs before reporting to Salum

Oh,i've just recruited Egbert and Takamu...and now i'm doing a break.


Logg's ship appeared after the end of Norden's investigation.....so Egbert and Takamu were available at this time...i hope Cornelio will be there!


Damn...recruiting characters in S5 is by far the most difficult,among the other Suikodens...

Yeah compared to the others it was the most difficult to recruit for me as well, but for me the difficult part wasnt finding them it was the time sensitivity that messed me up alot.

Cornelio should be there as long as your not doing any mission....i dont think he is miss-able at all.

Ok Cornelio has been recruited succesfully and two of his elves too.
