Battle 9: Nest of Pirates problem keeping alive of Kika

I'm on Chapter 7: The Nest of Pirates Can't seem to keep them alive and always getting a game over. I'm new to this game but not to the series.

stay on your element for increased stats and healing, keep their backs protected, especially Nalleo. if they can gain EXP and level up, try to delay it until they are low on HP... such as not attacking until next turn if you think they can take 1 more round of beating.

take advantage of their high MOV stats. once the enemy is in front of you from an attack, move to their backside when striking back... move the partner over as well.

you also want to get there as fast as possible.. you should take advantage of Andarc's magic skillz and Unites.

Ok thanks for the advice.Is there any better strategy then those guides I read from gamefaqs will help me with this battle?

I'll take a look at that then and I'm also having a lot of problems in these battles(I'm not sure I have the right strategy or I'm I still underleveled)
