calender

I noticed that the bottom left of the Caravan screen has a 8/17 FIRE symbol and changes as the "days" go by. Is there any purpose to this "calender"?

Hmm... I believe certain conversations take place on certain elemental days (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Also, in the Obel Ruins, the elemental day can affect what treasure you'll get in the last section.
