Magic Sword 3rd spell affected by MAG stat

it seems how much extra dmg Magic Sword does is equal to the user's MAG stat! I wonder how a Wizard Rune will work on Sigurd, who seems to have the highest MDEF in the game..!! I should also stick a Cyclone Sword on Hero4 since he already has a Wizard Rune.. remove Gale....

and on that note, i shall purchase Tome of Black Arts for almost everyone!
