I personally loved FFT. I think it's still one of my favorite games ever. Suikoden Tactics however is one of my least favorites. It's way too frustrating for me. The game's AI is WAY TOO dependant on the elemental terrain system. I got about half way through the game, gave up on it, played Suikoden V, got back into ST, made it to the end, and gave up on it again! It made me feel like my brain was gonna explode in my skull!!!

Please do explain. I don't see the problem behind the AI taking advantage of the elemental terrain system, if it benefits them.

The elemental terrain system itself may be the problem, but the AI being unusually good at using the environment to defeat you is definitely not.

I think you're right about the game being unusually good at manipulating the terrain. Too damn good at it. Part of my problem is that i rarely use the terrain to my advantage. I just need more practice.

Suikoden Tactics,...I can't stay mad at you.

It's fun to play if you can beat your friends at it.
Though I shouldn't be talking. I'm the one my friends beat.
It's a pinky promise. If I break my promise you break my pinky.
