Kyril won't kill? *spoilers*

Post by Windspun_Monkey »

I've just beaten the laboratory stage and it seems like everytime Kyril goes to lay the killing blow on an enemy he pusses out and leaves the enemy with 1 hp. Is this part of the story or what? I'm just getting concerned and hoping this doesn't happen forever.

I think this always happens when you're fighting fishmen. I think it's because

But that's based only on observation.

I see. Thats good I guess. Does it happen in battles where fishman are or only when attacking fishmen. It alays pisses me off because it happens with unites that use Kyril too.

Fishmen are the only things he cannot kill. Any other person on the stage with fishmen, can be killed.

Yeah, you're right, Oppenheimer. However, Kyril does eventually grow past this as

Yep, he should be able to kill fishmen after that event.

This is pretty useful actually, because you can use Kyril to weaken a fishmen to 1 HP, and then you can have a weaker character finish it off.

Oh, so that's why... I've been annoyed by that because I want Kyril to level up badly, but instead leaves the fishman to 1 HP. Like Sars said, it does have its advantages though.

That is exactly what I have been doing right now. He puts them down to one HP and I use which ever character I want to level up finish the job. I don't find this fustrating at all.

Although that is really great to know. I was just wondering that myself tonight.

Yea once Kyril gets his gets his power back after those events he gets that awesome attack that does 3x damage. I think he usually does around 700-900 damage on my game.

What upset me about this "trauma" trait is that people called Kyril a little sissy wimp for it. But they were probably the same people who thought Snowe Vingerhut was a sissy little coward. :?

It's a hint that we don't want human main characters anymore. What we need is an adolescent mermaid!

A mermaid? I'd rather have a furball as a main character than a mermaid. Mermaids have to be almost always doused. What a pain.

A furball at main character is way too cool :p
