Using only unkillable characters

You don't need to use items. Also, I think the Mega Medicines are a waste on most characters because your melee characters should always attack, nothing else. You have Simeon and Corselia for healing if needed.

Antimatzist is right, you don't need items. Moreover your HP and MP is restored when you level up. 1 Megamed just in case is fine. For terrain changing use element runes.

Simeon for healing? He has Flowing, not Water so he doesn't have Kindness Drops

He comes with a Wind Rune equpped, doesn't he?

Half of my accessory slots are Elemental Beads (the lower ranks - you rarely need the range of Rage Beads etc) and the rest powerful equipment. Wolkendrache already gave you examples of accessories for magicians, for your fighters use best defensive accessories or those that increase your strength.

Also, you'll want to recruit characters because the maximum skill rank depends on the people you've gathered.

My characters have the 3 equipment pieces I mentioned before, the rest is S-rank items (which you probably don't have, doesn't matter), and other items like beads or megameds. If you use elemental runes, you don't need beads, and if your levels are lower than those of the enemies, you don't need medicines, because you'll level up quickly.

If you really want to use Simeon as healer, use the higher healing spell or give him a water rune.

plus if you're not doing guild quests, you're missing out on rewards, including potch, skill points and accessories. And since you're not using killable characters, you might as well put them to work while you're fighting battles.

Be as cowardly as possible, it was level and equipment problem so I grind a lot before trying the small border again. I'm right before fighting inside Graska Palace. I already abandon the mages, now my team is Kyril, Kika, Seneca, Flare, Frederica, Lino en Kuldes, Busk, Ornela

I equip Andarc with Lightning and Fire,
Corselia with Water and Fire
Simeon with Water and Fire

As cowardly as possible? Just give Andarc an earth rune + strength boost rune...
No, seriously, mages are fine with the rune of their element, use the other rune slots to boost their stats: magic boost rune for magic and/or gale rune for speed.

In the Palace battle, Andarc and Ornela can be used to weaken the foes using their element runes.
