How to get the Star Earring in Rita's Challenge?

If I remember I got Rank S in this mission but there is no Star Earring? Is the guide that I saw in this forum is true?

my guess is you don't harm Rita at all (more than likely--the other extra prizes look like they come from being nice) or you take her HP down to a certain amount.

Eh...If you hit her you will definitely lose even if you don't get her HP to a certain amount.

i was thinking of putting an affinity down she's weak against. but i think it was fire vs lightning tiles so she can't be damaged by your tiles.. so nvm.

Is there a code in getting the Star Earring on Rita Challenge? I'm getting pissed of, I'm getting Rank S and no Star Earring.

Then you either don't have a S Rank or got the S Rank before that. There is at least one battle before that in Razril if I am not mistaken (right at the beginning), but I am not sure if you get ranked there.

And you should at least get a Gold Medal.

the Star Earring is not an S Rank prize. i can try providing the japanese guide's info on that battle, maybe it's written somewhere and someone can translate it.

Bradygames Guide says Razril Knight Token is the S-Rank item.

yeah sorry i didnt' make that clear. it's the extra item we think you can obtain by fulfilling certain criteria. in some other stages if your NPC soldiers/pirates stay alive you get an item. i don't recall if i personally got this, i think it was reported by just 1 person. list: http://suikosource.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=5022

I got all Rank S on the mission before Rita's Challenge I manage also my ally pirate to stay alive.
