I think you are being overly critical of Suikoden Tactics. I mean they probably wouldn't spin off an extremely complex game from an already simple game would they? The spin off may outshine the real thing. I agree that the game could have been better, but still give it a chance you might eventually enjoy it.

A like the idea of all the other smaller scale wars being made as a tactics game.
