Suikoden 6 Hero background.

I would like to have a mysterious type of main hero. Here we go:

-my favourite was Geddoe. He is exactly THE hero I like. Mature, intelligent and strong at the same time. This would be the male hero I would like to have in the next Suikoden.

-and for the female hero... well you all remember our lovely Lady Leona. Mature, intelligent, 30something. Well, a mature female tenkai star would be a good thing. Let's say a mix between Jeane and Leona.

Say, you remember the PRIVATE ACTIOS in Star Ocean 2? Everytime the hero enters a town or a village he / she should be able to make some private actions. I guess this would be a nice oppurtunity to get more informations about his / her past. And the private actios should also be a part of the SoD recruiting, romances and that kind of stuff. What do you say?

Or the Tenkai use a weapon-turn-human or vice versa. . .
but this could be disccused at the Tenkai weapon section. .

If you brought Kasumi in your party when you are completing the McDohl event, she has an extra scene with McDohl in his room in Gregminster, and she said these dialogue:

"Oh, excuse me...it's been a long...time...
It's...it's been three years...
we've rebuilt Rokkaku...it's almost like the war never happened...everyone is leading a new lives...Kirkis has rebuilt the village of the elves, and Kuromimi's became the chief of the Kobold Village...

Now you can feel Kasumi's feeling toward McDohl, she is very nervous and shy to express her true feelings towards her. I wonder if McDohl will accept her or not...

i dont support the idea of the hero being 30+, what about 19-25? Pilikia seems to be a popular choice for a cameo or female tenkai in a future game since her storys are similar to the other tenkais, like;

1.Peaceful life until something happens( Luca destroying Pilikias home)
2.The hero loses someone or people presious to them( Luca kills her parents)
3.She is silent in pretty much all of the game
4.So on and so forth, im too lazy to type or think of anything else...

Back to the topic though, i hope the that the tenkai will be adopted, only to realease that he is the son of a royal,;) lets hope they'll have cameos from suikoden 4, like in suikoden 4 had suikoden 1 cameos, Ted is the only one i can think about.

*sort of a relation to the empire or some great person.

So, in my opinion, the Tenkai in suikoden 6 will be adopted and have a relation to the 'Royal'

I would really love the Tenkai to be an archaeologist/historian
The family is infamous for being a sort of like researcher. .

Wondering why infamous?
Let say the Tenkai is a male. . His family is well under control of the Evil empire.
This mean that the people disliking the Empire dislike the Tenkai family.

Note* The family is a bunch of nice people. .

How does he get the rune?
The Empire found an ancient ruin thus asking the Tenkai family to explore it. .
The Tenkai wander alone and found some symbol scribbled on the wall. .
as i say the family was a 'well-known' archaeologist, he manage to dicipher the symbol.
The when he open a passage to a hidden place. .
And deep inside he found a True Rune. . . He was chosen. . .

How he became the Empire enemy?
When he recieve the TR blessing, there was a bright light. .
the Empire soldier saw this too and report it. . That night the family was under attack. .
His family knew that they wanted the rune. . so the parent sacrifice so that the Tenkai
and his brother can escape. . That when the war started. ..

So, my thought on his background is an Archaeologist.
Whoa. .being an archaeologist, he could even manage to find source about Sindar. .

Pilika?~She became an orphan after the Toto incident. After the overall war, she was taken care of
by Jillia (Pilika could be considered adopted). Jillia and Jowy are related to the 'Royal'. Since Pilika was adopted by Jillia,
Pilika can be considered to have a relation to the 'Royal'. Thus this link to my opinion.

Son of Mcdohl???~ Tir was around 21 years old during suikoden 2. . let just say he did really have a son. . .so, Tir pass the rune to him. Tir gone.
Gremio 'adopted' him so, Mcdohl son is considered adopted and have a relation to the 'Royal' since Tir was a son

If Pilika would be the possible character, It will possibly from Harmonia. . .

Pilika has the potential to be a complex returning character that it would be a waste of potential to fit her into the figurehead role. Considering her past (and possible experiences thereafter), a Georg Prime mentor-type role would be preferable for me.

Ready-made relation to the royals or nobility made past heroes a natural choice to head armies, so having a no-name hero from a no-name household who really earn their right to be a leader would be a refreshing change.

...I would like for Pilika to make an appearance, but not as a Tenkai, for sure. The Tenkai has always been a previously unknown character. It should stay that way.

We have Tengou Star and all the other nobilities populating the stone tablet, remember? For example, even if Lazlo wasn't related to the Vingerhut or En Kuldes families, people would still listen to him because he earned the command of the ship over the King of Obel.

Why would the hero need to rely on his/her nobility background to recruit new people, when s/he is leading a whole new army that often conflicts with those nobilities? My ideal hero should appeal to the people's noble desires, not abusing his past legacies to gain support.

Now that you mention it, ts really makes me think. . .
Tenkai should be a role model being a great leader. . .
Using of what s/he have such as an authority, is kinda like coward. . .
like dare not to stand up for his/her rights and instead usean authority
of someone else. . .well. . i'm not saying the past Tenkai is a coward. . .

This might be a bit late, but just throwin' this out there:

If we get a female Tenkai, I think she should be from the famous Warrior Village, a place where women are hardly equals. This would make her fighting prowess seem even more impressive (although Tengaar was a pretty good fighter, she certainly seemed to enjoy the damsel in distress role).

Besides which, the strong swordswoman angle (naturally, she could use any weapon, but swords seem to be the standard for the WV) could result in her exile from the village, even if she choses to leave herself. I dunno, this plotline just seemed interesting to me.

Plus, we may even get to hear another one of Zorak's awesome stories! lol

My thought was to have a ninja Tenkai and have the story revolve around how he doesn't remember his past and doesn't remember why he joined this group of ninjas. So instead of royalty, he would be of the darker past.
