Hmm, I have had many automated responses and none of them have been as detailed as that. Neither have they had a persons name at the bottom. But you may be right

This doesn't sound like an automated response to me.

Keep up the good work everyone. :)

I had an idea... Maybe it's not time to ask Konami about Suikoden 6, but another Company? Do you think this could work?

I know e.g. Level 5 developed Dragon Quest 9 and it was published by SE. maybe a Suikoden which is supervised by Konami and developed by another company would be possible?

/Edit: DQ 8 was also developed by Level 5 and published by SE.

Don't know where to ask, though. maybe just start to spread rumours about this on every gaming website in the world and eventually it will happen :D

Hello folks! Let's stay confident.
With so many Suikoden fans, we'll have a sequel for sure.

I dont think thats an automated response either! I think everything is going fine : ) Now we should only wait for them to reply. I really really want we can get this fb page, we need a "castle" xD.

I think we should try a little more with konami. We can always ask other companies if we dont get anything...

Yeah, I have discussed another company carrying Suikoden forward with many Suikoden fans. If Konami aren't willing to do anything with it, they may as well sell it off to someone who is willing to! I think, however, it is not time for that yet. Until Konami confirm that the series is dead, or they stay silent on the subject for far too long, it is worth concentrating all our efforts on Konami itself at this present moment.

Thanks for everyones support thus far. And loving the user name 'KyleReese' ;)

But do we need to wait for Konami to tell us its dead? If they say 100% that they dont want to make another one now or in the near future, we should propose them to ask another company...

Agreed, how long is too long? We should try any tactic we can right about now and besides it seems that Konami's well of ideas dried up for Suikoden a long time ago. Judging that Suikoden V was based on a detectives investigation from Suikoden II and Tierkreis was an attempt to reboot the series...

In the future, I saw severals Suikoden Games, so don't worry for the serie. :D
Hopefully I'm not force to be naked to travel (I'm travelling with a magic tree), but still I cannot carry anything with me, too bad. :P

Personaly, I would say give it another year. If we have nothing come TGS 2012, then we should go all out and camapaign to many companies to take over Suikoden. Anything to save our series. I understand, though, if you feel that such tactics are neccesary right now. Unfotunatly, I have my hands full in dealing with Konami at the moment but feel free to pursue that avenue yourselves though, if you feel its something you want to do :)

As I've said many times in the past, major Suikoden games have come out at 3-4 year intervals. With Konami having reinstated their RPG team, if partially, to make their joint tri-Ace game, we could hold out hope for one more year. Tierkreis was announced and launched in 2008, so 2012 would be the absolute limit on Konami's part.

We need 108 fans to march on Konami's head office. That would be dedication.

That would be awesome. I have a strong dislike towards cosplay but it might make a statement if 108 people were dressed as Suikoden characters.

...But yeah, give it a year (sadly).

I'll be Millie!

Seriously though, if a year is all I have to wait for an announcement of a new Suikoden, hen I'll happily wait a year. That give us more time to get into the campaign, yeah?
The only thing Suikoden lacks...is dinosaurs.
