Should I bring us back on-topic now?
Vextor, have any more news about how well these machines have fared after a few months in public? We know some diehard fans of Pachislot don't like them, but how has the overall opinion of them been?

The machines actually aren't released yet (it will be released on January 11th). Incidentally, it will be released on the same day as other popular pachislot titles, such as "Sakura Taisen 3" and "Harlem Ace 2" so avid pachislot folks seem to doubt Suikoden's success. Apparently orders from pachislot parlors have been low due to this fact (and because Konami has bombed their recent installation of their Castlevania 2 machines).

The official website's been updated again. This time, you can download a 14 minute video clip of Umemia (one of the developers, I presume) explaining mostly how the game works as well as shows a couple of awesome visuals while doing so.

I noticed a few tunes from IV, Tactics, and V being used in this clip, too. And a few original themes. Very spiffy. ^_^

(Hmm... While Razlo/Lazlo is my fav, hearing him shout "Yoshi!" after every battle gets kinda annoying. Ah, well. =/)

For one, what kept me driving with Suikoden IV is the plot. The concept is very nice and interesting, especially the rune's nature but aside from that. eh.

But man if the next installment has this kind of graphics, I'm psyched. I thought the screenshot I saw was fanmade. I squealed when I saw the clip :D

Ok these are the rules.. 1 guess.

1. Stage: Click on the Flame symbol in the right moment (when the bar hits it.)
2. Stage: You need to get 3 bells in a row. In the right-above corner you see your tries.. I guess. I have most luck with clicking middle-right-left.
3. You need to find 8 retries.

Wallpaper:
1. Troy and Razro
2. Kika, Hervey and Sigurd.
3. Troy, Razro and the Rune of Punishment
4. Mitsuba
5. Rune of Punishment
6. Mitsuba, Viki and Jeane

Ha, there you go.

Looks awesome. I have to admit though that when I first heard of a Suikoden "pachinko", I immediately thought of the 1970's vertical pinball thing my brother had. I'd never heard of pachislots until this.

Snagged a couple of those wallpapers :)
