Music for the next Suikoden games
I was listening to the franchise's soundtracks the other day and noticed that far more songs came back from game to game than I previously thought.
My question is, what songs would you like to have come back and in what situations (scenes) would you want them to play in?
Theme of a Moonlit Night (Obligatory)
A random night scene of large storyline importance EXCEPT the night before the final battle, which has happened quite a few times already.
Beautiful Morning (Nanami's theme)
I'd like to hear it near the beginning of the game. Have the game start off on a lighter note than most of the previous ones.
I'll add more to this post as I go through the songs I like.

Theme of Sadness: I feel that this song should also be obligatory. This song added a lot of emotion to very tragic events and gave them more depth.
Tragic Request from SV: I would like this song to be in tierkreis for the same reason as theme of sadness.
Song from S2: I forgot the name of the song but it was played when Flik and Viktor came to Kyaro to save Riou and Jowy from the execution.

the one that the dragon knights in SV played during the eve of battle
i still can't quite remember the title of that song
can anybody name that particular song
plus the name of the original one, the one without the dragon flutes
i love that song, wouldn't mind it to play every eve of the final battle

It's the song stated at the first post, Theme of the Moonlight. Gawd, that soothing and calming music always reminds me of S2........Mio wrote:the one that the dragon knights in SV played during the eve of battle

What's interesting is how the song came from the first game as one of the many songs a lot of people overlook.Runemaster wrote: It's the song stated at the first post, Theme of the Moonlight. Gawd, that soothing and calming music always reminds me of S2........

Forgotten Days, Black Forest, eh... those are just off the top of my head. I and II had such great songs but production seemed to only go downhill from there. The songs in the recent games haven't been as memorable in my opinion.

S4 had great music. ST and SV did great too. SIII was the worst. worst, worst, worst. The music aren't very clear in that game. Not very catchy too. The theme song, so far, is the only music of SIII which is good.x_xgolgotha wrote:Forgotten Days, Black Forest, eh... those are just off the top of my head. The Suikoden series got a lot of excellent music, but the one that comes to my mind right away is the epic battle theme from Suikoden 2; Battlefield without Light. It would be nice to see it return.
Suikoden 2 got some other truely excellent songs too, like Reminiscence. The two versions of that song always makes me cry.
