Thinking back on it, I wasn't even sure what Suikoden 1 was when I found it but it was only $29.99 and being an avid RPG fan I picked it up.

Probably the greatest game I ever bought without prior knowledge.

Then I saw a two paragraph review of Suikoden 2 in a Playstation Magazine I believe, and got pretty psyched up about it, after all I had played the first one into the ground at that point. So I wound up paying shelf price for it, like $39.99 if my memory serves me correctly.

Anyway It's no surprise to me that Suikoden 2 costs so much. For some reason the really good old games are only made by the dozen, so near the end of their time when only the super fan-boys know anything about them, they cost a small fortune to get. I'm just happy I didn't have to pay over a hundred dollars for it... not to say that I wouldn't...
