Suikoden 2: Playstation Network

For asking questions about how to obtain copies of the actual videogames themselves.

I just read on another forum that in Japan, Suikoden II is available on PSN. Perhaps the USA will have a chance to get it as well later on after all.

I heard that too but I call BS, seems too good to be true.
We have an embarrassment of riches. Is there any way to make sense of it all?

You know, it's definitely possible to check PSN in Japan...

...and no. The only Suikoden titles available in Japan are Suikoden I + II and the newest PSP Suikoden game. There are no PSOne versions of Suikoden II available.

Konami UK says on twitter that we needn't hold our breaths on this one (or any other), it's unlikely to happen.

I hope this doesn't mean that Konami has pretty much abandoned the Suikoden IP all together?

It seems that enough people bothered them to look into things again, at least the social media guy said he will at least inquire for the reasons why they do not want the game to get a PSN-release.

Hi all. Long time fan of the site and also been waiting for suikoden 2 to be released on PSN.

I'm a little pissed off that it cost so much to get the game on hard disc, so I emailed Sony and dramatically explained my sadness... The reply they sent thanked me for my incredible enthusiasm and basically told me that the only way we will get it on there is if we rally enough support on the playstation share blogs :? . So naturally the only way I figured to gather enough support for it was either facebook or rally support at suikosource.

so PLEASE PLEASE go to http://share.blog.us.playstation.com/?s ... +2&x=0&y=0 and vote yes to all the suikoden 2 stuff, and together we will laugh in the face of the dark forces of tyranny.
I've bought and lost/broke/had stolen 3 copies already :(

thank you for your time
Karl
P.S. before anyone makes the joke....... 108 people is not enough support.....
