How do I see the enemy's HP in Suikoden 4?

I registered just to ask this question, and in case I have more. Which is likely, as I have not too much RPG experience. ^^;

My problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to tell the enemy's HP in the game, and it's driving me crazy lol. Although I'm not even sure if it's meant to be like that... maybe I'm not supposed to be able to tell? Or possibly I just don't know where to look... Anyone know?

sorry this game really lacks technical information (hard to see enemy info, equipment info, etc). in fact, most RPGs don't show enemy data unless you have some special command or equipment, from my experience....

Oh, thank you. I've noticed that as well, that in these games you need like a Scan ability or something. But there's nothing like that in this game? Lol darn. Oh well, still an awesome game. ^_^

finished the entire Suiko IV and i would have to say there's no way to do that

most support skill are like Healing, Extra Potch, Find Treasure, Appraisal

thats about it... unlike in suiko 5, was it investigate skill??

cant remember if there was also in suiko 3

I...don't remember that option being in Suikoden III Mio...but you're right about it being in Suikoden V. If I remember correctly Leilei has that ability to view Enemy HP.

Quite helpful really...but you're right...Suikoden IV really is lacking quite a few helpful features that are either in Suikoden I-III or could've made the game more exciting to play.

Just my two cents really.

Yeah, there isn't a way to see enemies hp.

in suikoden 5, Taylor also has the analyze ability.

I forgot all about Taylor. >.< I usually just bring Leilei though...she's a decent fighter and having that Analyze ability (while not entirely needed) is nice to have.

There isn't a way to view enemy's HP from Suikoden I to Suikoden IV. Taylor and Lelei can at Suikoden V though.
