Deserted island - cave

In the cave on deserted island is it possible to go in the pool of water that lilen comes out of?

The reason i thought you could do this is becaue in the ending with renes description, it says hes still looking for treasure (or something close to that) so i thought if u get all 30 maps and perhaps the right equipment set you might be able to

Well, before this thread actually does get locked...

Is there any reason to go back to the deserted island after recruiting Lilen? Like, say, is there any rare monster drops there or any special cutscenes I might have missed?

There's a crab mini-boss you can keep on fighting, and then there's also the other guy... the bath house guy... I forgot his name, but he's in there later too.

I'd forgotten about Taisuke. I nabbed him roughly around the same time I got Lilen. Since then I've never bothered to return.

I go there from time to time to exp my characters up quickly and get various unites. With the prosperity orb on you get about 20.000 potch per fight
