Stones of Magic / Strength / Evasion / etc?

Okay, several questions here, as I'm currently stone-hunting and would love to make it easier. Question one, is there any rune that causes enemies to attack more frequently? I'm rather bored running in circles waiting for something to attack me. Question two, other than Mordo Island and the Inner Ruins of Obel, is there any other place that has those nifty colored rodents? They appear to be the best source of most stones, though in Mordo you get attacked more often by the stupid insects. Question three, is there anyone better than Oscar for finding Treasure? He only seems to snag a stone about once every eight battles or so, which can also get boring. Question four - since the stones of Evasion are only found on Flying Lizards in the ocean, can anyone tell me the best place to go for fighting them?

#1: there's no rune that raises encounters.
#3: Oskar is the best support when it comes to finding items.

Well, you can let the PS2 do all the work for you so you don't have to be bored fighting battles just to get those stones.

I think that you are doing the same as me , I don´t know if have better luck , I got a stone 2-3 times
