The guide lists affinities for each character.

However, I don't know if it necessarily means the same thing as the ship battle stuff.

We should compile it ourselves and find out....

The rune affinities for each character vaguely correspond with their rune cannon stats, but not always.

I guess the NA version guide has those figures as well, but the Japanese guide has the same (quantitative).

The north american guide has rune affinity values for each rune, for each character, ranging from one to four (I haven't seen any zeros yet).

Out of memory, Jeane has a four in Lightning, Warlock has a four in Earth, The Hero has a three in water, and Ted has a three in every element.

As far as I can tell, though, there are way more characters with affinities of four for various elements than characters with S skills in Suikoden III. Some characters who you wouldn't expect to be amazing mages are given fours in one element or another in the guide.

I don't think that someone is going to scan 60 pages for you..

P.S. Viki is 3 in everything? # should be above the average, yet with Fire Ring (or whatver it is called) and Rune of Fire she only does barly over the sritten values on teh spells damage (i.e. lvl1 spell does 103 instead of 100...)

I'm having different starting values for the characters than the guide posts, so on my second playthrough of the game, I'll make my own recruiting guide. I will need someone to double check with me, though.

Edit: Viki is 3 in everything. (maybe the guide is wrong)
