codebreaker v10

hy guys i'm playing suiko 4 in PCSX2 using codebreaker v10 but some codes are running and some are not specially have all items. i already get the code have all items in here http://herrvillain.net/cheats/suikoden4/ but none of the code from that web were matching in codebreaker v10. i got confused because all the code from web different than in codebreaker v10 but some codes from v10 running can someone help me please.

If you're using All Items, don't activate it until you recruit Taisuke. It sets a flag that makes him uncrecruitable.

the problem is the code is not running, my items still not increaseing but others code (lvlup, potch, rune stat) is working to make sure i'm using the right code. but thank you for advice i'm gonna reach el eal first and then use it to use in new game +.

In this case the codes are only different because the people managing the Codebreaker database encrypted them. I don't know what else you might have found, but every PS2 cheat device (GameShark, Action Replay, Xploder, etc.) had its own code encryption as a way to prevent "theft". However, they all cribbed off of each other in terms of commands, and stole work from each other with abandon, so it's not unusual to find the same code formatted half-a-dozen different ways that all function identically.

The most likely reason it's not working is that you keyed in a digit somewhere incorrectly. Apart from that, it's possible there's a "Greatest Hits" or "Playstation the Best" version of this game that changes something important. I would advise against using that code anyway. It adds pretty much 99 of everything, which has some undesirable effects. It's best used right before going into new game+.

i don't get what u are trying to inform me but even .pnach files not working. i download the game in some web maybe u can recommend me the game that makes this code working sorry for bad english i'm tryng.

What's the executable name on the disc? It'll be in the top level/root directory and should look like AAAA_###.##, "A" being any letter and # any number. So for example, SLUS_209.79. It should be one of the ones from this listing: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/91888 ... en-iv/data

Oh, and is this a fan translation or something?

Yep. That's the US version. It should work if you've entered it correctly. Although, I don't know offhand if PCSX2 allows writing to kernel RAM without setting kernel mode. I assume it does.

I can't make out your screenshot well enough to confirm anything. It looks like it was shrunk a little too much, or else taken on a monitor at 320x240. Did you get the code from the AR MAX website, or is there some other reason why you're converting from that?

it does work once using codebreaker but because i get looping event in sending document to middleport so i turn it off and use it when the last boss. when i use it second time the code not running well i don't have any idea about PCSX2 allow writing to RAM.

some people advice me to convert the code from raw to v1 codebreaker and vice versa. when i did make .pnach file only have all items nut running all codes (potch, hp, mp) running.

Well, if it worked once, I don't know what to tell you. Either you changed something and now it's not correct, or there's a slim chance the part of the game you're in has shuffled things around for some reason which makes the code not function. I never heard any complaints about it before, aside from the key items issues, though.

There is a warning on the page that says you need to wait about 20 seconds in-game for the effects to show up. I don't remember what I plugged into to make this work. I don't think it was the game pad read, but I do recall it was something the game ran constantly, and the code would shut itself off after it ran once.

Actually here's a question...Are you trying to run the Have Items code at the same time? The list it wants you to plug in is checked by the Have All items code, and it just returns without doing anything if there's a value at the start of it. That's how it guarantees the code will only run once, by using that area to hold a flag.

not really related to the topic oh dear questions like this throw me back way way back in the CMP (codemasters project for you kids ) days. remember back then when when we discovered the BEEFC0DE ? now going back to the matter at hand.. i think PCX2 can run both Raw and or any version of code breaker
