hey quick question for suikoden players about this game

Ive beaten suikoden 1 and 2 a couple of times and just beat suikoden 3 for the first time with all 108 stars; I was curious if suikoden 4 was worth playing since i heard it was the worst in the series, I was also wondering if you can load the data from the previous suikodens on 4 just like the first 3. Your opinions and responses would be much help.

I would recommend it if you want to play Suikoden Tactics because Tactics fleshes out the game and makes it better. IV is pretty short so regardless it's not much effort to get through it.

What I really recommend is Suikoden V.

Most fans criticize it as the worst Suikoden but I get to love it somehow. You're a Suikoden fan, right? If you really are, playing Suikoden IV is a must no matter how hated it is. You don't wanna always rely on people's opinions, play it and judge!

Agreed, I played it last since no one liked it, but I figured after playing the others that I should finish the series. Pretty well worth it, imo.

I think SIV is a decent game but far from terrible. Compared to the others it is rather lackluster but if you do decide to skip over it I agree I too highly recommend SV. It has a great New Game + system which will influence you into playing it multiple times.
