Suikosource character counter

Do you think it'd be possible to add a feature to your information that says how many characters the person has typed? And if this did happen would it take long to load all the info from every person and every character into the database? What is everyone's thought on this idea?

Why would you want that? Just curious, it seems kind of pointless.

I'm not 100% sure about why I want it, just curious...and wondering how many characters I typed, I really don't want to count all of my post's characters though....that'd probably take a while. Is there some kind of program that I can use to copy and paste my posts then it says how many characters are on the screen?

I wouldn't know to be honest plus I have never seen a word count on the any of forums I have visited.

i've seen this type of counter in forms that limit the number of characters you can enter. also, gamefaqs does count the characters and tells you if you've entered too many (but there's no visible counter on their site). i don't think there's a need for suikosource to pursue this.. i am having a big enough headache trying to figure out the SQL databases that stores stuff like character info ^_^

btw Microsoft Word has a built-in Word Count tool

Oh well thanks anyway...too bad I deleted it off my computer, it is a really old hand-me-down and I figured I would just use word pad for typing.
