y a->yes

Post by dragonmasterx »

y a

Everytime I type "y a"(without the space), it automatically changes to "yes." Is there a way to correct that?

It's there to correct "net speak," but it can be removed if you wish.

You can get around this as well: ya

To get around it, you basically lodge bbcodes in between y and a.

If it's not too much trouble, I'd like it removed.

Well that's a good feature, it keeps people from talking like idiots, in my humble opinion. I wouldn't want that feature removed.

Since it's still not fixed and I don't need to use y-a that many times anyway, I'll just use the html fix to get around it.

When I type y a, I'm not usually trying to say "yeah", it's a cute way of saying "you." Like, I love y a. Y a know?

Heh, I'm so lame.

I'm actually tired of seeing U.S. whenever people have to refer to America.

Maybe instead of filtering just the letter, it can be filtered with a space in front of the letter: " u".
