Nice job on the Suikoden III Skills Guide

Post by highwind44029 »

I just saw the new scheme. Nice touch specifying how many fixed skill slots they have and which ones they are. One thing troubles me though, and that is the question marks... why are there question marks in some other characters' skills?

Mainly this is initial level values because they have not been recorded.

The update was mainly to reduce the size of the file, it being the largest on the site barring the Suikoden II walkthrough. I added the fixed skill stuff because I found it to be more useful with it.

As a result then the guide still displays the question marks it did previously, as only an endgame file was used to get the fixed slot information.

If you feel that you can replace some of those question marks with values then feel free to tell us the details.
What is the difference between PAL and NTSC? Why do some games take ages to get a PAL conversion, or get none whatsoever?

OK, I understand. My Suikoden III disc is busted, but I'm planning on getting a new one anyway. I will help out with the question marks if I can, but I don't think I would be able to anytime soon.

Four years later... dun dun dun!!!

I just remembered this. Anyway, I'm at Chris Chapter 3 and have info on Rhett and Wilder's default skill ranks.

Rhett:
Magic Repel - C
Accuracy - C
Damage - B
Repel - D

Wilder:
Magic Repel - C
Damage - C
Accuracy - D
Repel - C

Also, I think Yuber had the Parry skill.

I leveled Jimba up until Level 51, and no other skills opened up. Would it be safe to conclude that he only has two fixed skill slots for Parry and Water Magic?

I think Sharon's Magic Rationing maxes at B, but I will double-check.

everything else has been updated including Shiba's initial skills. i'm pretty sure Sharon's mag. rationing maxes at B as well. thanks!

i've also written in that Jimba and Yuber have 1 fixed skill slot.

we're just missing Kosanji's level at which he obtains Adrenaline Power : )

Actually, Jimba has two fixed slots. Water Magic is also fixed.

Also, Sharon's Magic Rationing doesn't appear at Level 40. She was Level 42 in mine and she still didn't have it. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact level when she gets it because when I took her out she gained five levels, so the number is somewhere between 43-47.
