Removing "new post"

I haven't been on for quite some times and all these "new posts" things was everywhere. In the section, "Suikoden 1", I have that yellow glow thingy (new post symbol) that goes all the way down to the bottom of the web. How do I remove all these "newpost" symbols?

On the main index page of the board just above the Last Post heading on the chart is "Mark topics read" which will mark all topics read.
