I believe there is a simular topic, but not completely simular,
so i thought i'd start a new one.
I'm looking for a new RPG that would grab onto
my heart and never let go, based on what i like
and what i dont like and played already. The list
as follows....
Liked these games very much,
and completed them. (No order)
1. Suikoden 1-3. (ps,ps,ps2)
2. Lunar: SSSC (ps)
3. Lunar 2 Eternal blue (ps)
3. Breath of Fire III (ps)
4. Azure Dreams (ps)
5. Lufia 2 (SNES)
6. Wild Arms (Ps)
7. Final Fantasy 7 (ps)
8. Wanderers from YS: 3 (SNES)
9. Everquest (MMORPG)
10. Megaman Legends (PS)
Games i played but
did not enjoy.
0. World of Warcraft (MMORPG, PC)
1. Thousand Arms (ps1)
2. Grandia (ps1)
3. Beyond the Beyond (ps1)
3. Final Fantasty 3 (snes) and 8 (PS)
4. Legend of Legaia
5. Saga Frontier 1 & 2
6. Elder Scrolls Series
Games i held a NEUTRAL status on.
1. Final Fantasy tactics.
2. Wild arms 2
3. Suikoden 4
4. Chrono Cross
5. Megaman Legends 2
6. Persona
So, if you can look at all those, and come up with a game
you'd think i'd like, let me know, it would really be helpful.

Cant say much until you say what you liked or didnt like about some of them. You liked FF7, but not FF3, you liked Everquest but not WoW, you liked Suikoden 1-3 but are indifferent to S4. Ill just suggest random RPGs then >_>
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (ps2
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 (You felt ok about the first one, but this one is much more expansive and its worth a shot) (ps2)
Final Fantasy XI (MMORPG, if you didnt like WoW its worth a look)
Evolution (DC)
Skies of Arcadia (DC/GC, DC version is insanely expensive and iirc the GC version is a good port)
if you gave us something to work with, like "like character development, dont like 60+ hours" you'd get better responses.

Valkyrie Profile is a game often overlooked but one that has a strong fanbase, it has a unique battle system but the strength comes from its presentation and the fact that you actually feel like a god.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (#1) is on PS1 and PSP
Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria (#2) is on PS2

Nowadays I'd tend to depend on any Japanese-made game. I've had my share of MMORPGS, Grand Theft Autos, etc., but JP games always satisfied me.
So maybe you could try games based on the developer, you know, just for a short amount of time.
