For those of you who have discovery channel and are into this type of thing, there a really interesting documentary series called "Rise of the Video Game" on tonight.
It's the second episode at 8pm EST.
It chronicles the history of video games. I watched the first episode last week and it was great. It covered from the events and settings leading up to the development of the first Pong style game and the subsequent Atari boom to just after Pac-Man (and a little on the concurrent development of Tetris in the USSR).
From what I can tell, episode 2 is abotu the emergence of Nintendo and Donkey Kong and stuff.

It's a pretty good show. I watched the FPS episode and was impressed.
