Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
And if I saw you dancing, I would spin you around, spin you around, turn your world upside down

I'm glad to see you noticed that Canada has an earlier Thanksgiving. I had a good one, although it seems like ages ago now.

Thanksgiving in long story short:
1620 - Pilgrims come from England to America land around Massachusetts
They suffer through a really hard winter with the help of Indians. Like 80% of them die.
Afterwards, the Pilgrims and Indians throw a party and feast to celebrate the fact that they survived (well 20% of them did at least), and made friends and are thankful for it.

(Note Canadians celebrate somethign entirely different. Somethig abotu an explorer who tried to find the Northwest Passage, but got hungry and ate big.)

If you click on that picture of the cranberry in the can i put above, I wrote an article about Thanksgiving, but you might not really get it if you're not familiar with the holiday.

Fourth of July-We shoot firewroks because Americans are easily entertained by bright lights and loud sounds.
That's really all there is to it I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

well i guess. but also 4th of july is our independence day, when we signed the declaration of independence to break away from.. well.. you. (Well, not YOU specifically.)

btw, whats this about a "bomb plot"? (Usually I only hear that phrase in association with a Rob Schneider movie)
