Strictly speaking, that still shouldn't threaten them, but this took exception to this for some reason.

According to the producers, Steve actually pulled the barb out himself before losing consciousness (it's on the film apparently, because they had to prove he wasn't harrassing it). Fearless to the end.
Ice has formed and there's snow between the tracks/ And I have seen the surface tear and I can't look back/ And cool low sun has blinded you for days from horizon to horizon can I dream this all away
