hmm... i got into RPGs with FF7... then 8 and 9, i found suikoden on sale once in gamestop way clearance, like 10 or 15 bucks, but i fell in love with it, a few months after i had beated the game suiko2 came out. Suikoden 2 is my favorite so far of the three, though FF7 is my fave RPG.

THATS MY STORY AND IM STICKING TO IT

First RPG was either Kingdom Hearts or S3. The only other RPGs I had seen before were FF's, which I don't really like. But S3 converted me to RPG fandom for good.

Oh, and having images in your signature isn't allowed. That's why it's not working for you, Himurokoken.

Hey im Bryan and im 14 from long island newyork

I think suikoden was the best of all three and S1 was not far behind, i think S3 was a good rpg but not so suikoden feeling.

I hail from Wellington, New Zealand - 23 years old with a decent job. If you're wondering I'm also 'Falcon Critical' from the previous version of these boards.

I'm from Nottingham, England and I'm 24.
I stumbled accross S1 in a local second hand games shop for about £20 about 1 year after it got released and I haven't stopped playing the Suikoden series since. Out of the 3, obviously S3 was the worst but I don't think it was as bad as what people say. It had a nice story line, lots of longevity and i lived the style of graphics. S4 is looking very promising in terms of graphics and sounds(i think you cannot make a good rpg without good sounds and sound track).
