Just wanted to put that out there.

What's your point in comparing an english term with a "japanese" one? It's コスプレ, pronounced kosupure, made in Japan.
Japanese say Paskon for PC (short for paasonaru konpyuuta, personal computer). You should open a thread telling everyone that there is no such thing as Paskon, the correct term is personal computer. Great!

Pretty sure it is, but they transliterated it as faithfully as they could into Japanese, and that's what you get. The Japanese don't seem too worried about picking up neologisms from very different languages.
