Did anyone else brick it when the suikosource site was down?

Post by Jocky »

I may not post too often but when I do, I usually go all out and reply to practically every topic that is being discussed. And I also may not be the most frequent visitor in the world, but again there are times where I'll check suikosource 3 or 4 times a day and others where I'll only pop on for 15 mins in a whole week.
But I gotta say, these last few days of not being able to access the site felt like the longest days of my whole adult life! I know it's been years since we've had a proper game but I've come to depend on suikosource for facts and fun. I for one am glad that it's still here, and I hope that it's still around for years to come!! :)

At first, I was pretty cool because I remember the site being down in the past for short times. But as it still didn't go up, I was getting a bit afraid :D

By the beard of Agares! I got a bit of a shock seeing the site down. Glad it's back, total Suikohistory this place!

It was a case of the domain registration expiring. There was a lot of drama trying to reclaim our lost domain, but alas we triumphed.

I'm happy to see the website is back up. Suikosource has been my homepage for my web browser for atleast 10 years now.

I only post occasionally here, but I was freaked out at potentially losing this site which is why I made the post over at GameFAQs. This is one of the best fan sites on the web and it would be a big loss.

I freaked out a bit and got ahold of one of the admins to see what was going down. Really happy to have it back; I don't want to see it go anywhere, ever. It's a historic landmark!

I felt sadder that I should have, I guess. It felt a bit like if Suikoden was dying for a second time.

It also prompted me to do the stuff I wanted to do here without waiting for any longer (as in: my S2 trading guide will be completed faster, and another thing)

I think this should prompt us to take action. First, I'll need to get another way to keep in touch with you guys in case the forum dies. Second, we need to play something together, this is a game, we should do an online playing of sorts. Okay I'm getting carried away now.

I am so relieved that Suikosource is back and running. Thank you whoever is responsible for renewing it's domain.

An official Suikosource Facebook page perhaps?
