Do your parents interfere with your gaming preferences?

Okay, this happened back on April 2011
My father threw away most of my games into the garbage bin outside the house. it wasn't until a week later that I found out coz I was playing a multiplayer online game at that time mostly

My collection is reduced to half because of that

So any of you still live with your parents? CAREFUL! they might just do that to you if you don't protect it

Did he give you a reason as to why he threw your stuff out? Was he like, "Your games are interfering with your studies!" Or did you put some old stuff in a box, and your dad threw it away because he didn't know it was your stuff or assumed you didn't want it anymore?

He said that the games look scary but even the anime looking ones he also trashed them. I don't get it, maybe he's just mad at me

Your dad probably couldn't beat any of those games so he trashed things that may disgrace him.

I was lucky to grow up right on the cusp of ratings in games, before it really became well known or important. I was playing Resident Evil II as a very young child and my parents just assumed it was another Mario game.
