Boxing

Post by Michael Easton »

So, recently I started to get back into Boxing and I was wondering if there were any fans of the sweet science in this forum?

Hells yeah! I hope that Hatton wins, but my gut is telling me that Pac-Man is going to win.

But before this fight there's Froch vs Taylor, and I hope Froch does a number on Taylor because he just doesn't seem to love the sport, y'know?

Wow.. I knew Pacman is famous but didn't expect he was THIS famous.

The truth is, I'm not into boxing so dunnow who Hatton is and his accomplishments so I really don't have any bet among them..

But I'd be proud if Pacman wins..well, as a Filipino. :D

I'm half Korean and I love Paqman. Ricky Hattan is Britains pride and joy hes really tough. He probaly should of just stayed away from pretty boy floyd though. Did anybody see Paul Williams mop up Winkie Wright? Time to retire Wink!

sad to see Winky gets pummeled like he did.. i think he still has it in him and just wasn't in the right frame of mind that night.
Pacquiao will most likely win, though we'll see what Hatton brings to the ring.
it will definitely be an interesting bout.

Boxing is dead and has been for a loooooong time. The only thing anyone ever wants to see is the occasional fight between the small guys. Boxing is circling the drain though.

Didn't get to see the fight as I had to be up early for work today but my taxi driver this morning let me know how much Hatton got his arse handed to him. Shame. :(

I wonder if Hatton even trained or was it the fact that Paquio had Floyd Meyweather's father train him this time because he was relentless if it did go longer then 2 rounds Hatton would have been hospitalized. Glad i didnt pay for it.

ah even worse then Hatton might need to stick to the lower grade fighters Pacquio on his way to the top. He'll probaly end up beating Sugar Shane next and then bring on either Cotto or Meywheather.

Rumor has it that Pacquiao will have Mayweather as his next opponent on September.

Gawd, I didn't know I'll hang out long in this thread. I know little to nothing about this sport. :D

I stayed up all night to watch this, only to be sorely disappointed with Hatton's lack of performance. You'd think that going up against one of the best boxers in the world you'd have some sort of tactics other than "I'll defend myself with my face", but no.

What made it worse was that 2 hours after this finished I had to be at the airport to fly to Florida. Didn't get any sleep on the plane. 48 hours without sleep = complete mess.
