protective skinz

i searched but didn't find a topic regarding this, nor did i know where to put this but here is. i purchased protective skinz (the skinz you click onto your games, cd's, movies,) on all my suikoden games. Suikoden 1 and 2 play fine with them on, but S3 won't even load. It never gets any further then the playstation 2 screen at the very beginning of the loading process. I can't say i remember playing S4 or Tactics with the skinz so i can't say if it's just S3 or if is suikoden ps2 games. Has anyone else ever used these skinz and if so what were your results on game play.
