Suikoden Television Series

Post by JeaneLover »

Hi I don't know if any of you guys here are aware of this, but there is a live action TV series comprised of 26, 45 minute episodes directly based on the Chinese novel that the original Suikoden is loosely based on. It was produced in the 1970s in Japan and called "The Water Margin". It focuses on most of the things that makes Suikoden what it is. The gathering of the 108 stars fighting a tyrannical government and so on. Just thought I'd put that out there. And yes it's also in english. But be forewarned: It's not easy to find. On DVD it's only available in PAL, the European video format so it won't work on a standard NTSC DVD player. If you can find it, please let me know. I prefer torrents, but I'll follow any lead I'm given. Good luck boys! :D
