Sagiri... (SPOILER)
The scene with her and the agency confronted by Nakula is one of the best in Suikoden V, better than most voiced and motion scenes. I wonder, had she been alittle older, she might've still been saved, like Lyon. Poor poor Sagiri... On a side note, does anyone know any good Sagiri x Shagure fanfictions? That's really be nice.

Re: Sagiri... (SPOILER)
I loved that scene, too!
Fanworks are really hard...at least in english. ( I'm a big fan od Sagiri...and Shigure...so I know ^^; ). The only fanfic I know in english is "Case Closed" by Liete on fanfiction. net ( http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3407172/1/Case_Closed ) but it's no real fanfics just drabbles. Still really nice ...otherwise I know only japanese fansites and my own stuff ^^;

Re: Sagiri... (SPOILER)
at the end of the game, it says that her smile slowly fades away...
is that a good or bad thing?
i mean if she is like botoxed or something that she cannot express other facial expressions, aside from smiling.

Of course thats a good thing, as it shows that the indoctrination of Nether Gate seems to vanish and she can express other feelings as well.

Sagiri is one of my favorite charactors (Mizuki and Kate are very close seconds) and getting her history is awesome, no matter how sad it is.

Well, she was trained to smile all the time by Nether Gate so she looked more innocent.

What a twisted idea. Perhaps we'd meet this assassin trainer in a future title?

Re: Sagiri... (SPOILER)
Strange how none of the other assassins were trained to smile all the time. Maybe they figured out that it makes more sense to teach them how to smile under pressure and let it look natural instead of forcing them to smile all the time... Silly idea anway.

Considering Kayanu fled to Nagarea with Takefute when Nether Gate was disbanded we could.patapi wrote:What a twisted idea. Perhaps we'd meet this assassin trainer in a future title?
Then again, Oboro went there after the Sun Rune War to settle some loose ends.

Re: Sagiri... (SPOILER)
well perhaps some of the nethergate followers didn't smile it effected them differently.
i think in sagiri's case, she smiled so as to forget everything she'd do while under the influence of nethergate. and it stayed with her. she was brainwashed..that way..
i too agree that sagiri's past was depressing but sadly true..

Re: Sagiri... (SPOILER)
It's fact, however, that she only smiles because she was trained to do it all the time from a very young age. I don't really see how smiling would help her forget what she did for Nether Gate anyway.avenger wrote:i think in sagiri's case, she smiled so as to forget everything she'd do while under the influence of nethergate.
