Jeane theory

Post by i_like_pie »

Everyone who knows Suikoden knows theres something up with Jeane and i believe i have a pretty believable theory. What if Jeane is the leader of the Sindar and bears the rune of change.

Its obvious that Jeane is imortal. She appears in Suikoden 4 wich happened 150 years before Suikoden 1 and goesthrue to Suikoden 3, a total of 168 years and she didnt age one bit. It has been denied that Jeane has a true rune because Lilly didnt see any true rune on her hand in the bath in Suikoden 3 but i think the rune of change is a head rune.

Aparently Koroku in Suikoden 3 discovered something of Jeane and it could be that Jeane used the "rune of change" to "change" her appearence and Koroku, not being human, somehow saw her true form. This could explain why we cant see a rune on her head because she desguises it with the runes power.

I read in one of the old books that the Sindar was cursed by the rune and was forced to constantly move from one place to another. This is similar to Jeane who constantly moves her shop. In the Suikodens she probably owened 10 different shops and that doesnt include the shops in between the games.

Also considering her professioun, a rune sage should probably know a lot about runes and i believe the Sindar, being ancient people, knew A LOT about runes and magic considering their impressive ruins they left behind. Well please tell me what you think of my theory.

Well i'd say this is a prety belivable theory going on what information we know from current installments of the game.

1 day Konami will have to surely tie up all lose ends of the Suikoden series but who knows how many more installments we are going to see in the near future but i am willing to bet that more clues into characters pasts will slowly be unravelled including Jeane.

Konami must surely know that it has a very loyal fan base that would eventually want to know and be able to piece together the pasts of Suikoden because there are man characters that are significant to the Suikoden series and very little information is know, to name 1: Yuber!
Some hooligan keeps disconnecting the alarm. I told Security to look into it. But no, no, they'd rather catch the guy who's stealing organs from the transplant ward!!

Hey there! Yeah, I think we all agree that Jeane is an enigma. ;) There's been a lot of discussion regarding Jeane around here, actually. In fact, there are several threads. You might want to take a look at these:

You might find something in one of these that helps support or add to your theory.
