Gary, an ancestor to the Maximillian Knights?

Recently it was brought to my attention that Gary resembles Maximillian in a lot of ways. I mean, look at Gary's portrait and Max's portrait, they look similar and they've even got the same crazy mustache.

On top of that Gary is always talking about how he fights for justice, and does just that for the people of Obel. I was also told that he said he was heading toward the Scarlet Moon Empire, which is where Tir met up with Maximillian.

Did anyone else think about this, or has it already been discussed before? If it has, I'm sorry, I was just excited when I heard.

I thought it was confirmed already that Gary WAS Max's ancestor because of some sort of seal or pendant he had.

He is indeed an ancestor. Aside from his resemblance he is wearing the Maximillian Knights Symbol around his neck in the form of a pendant.

He isn't supposed to be the founder though.

Gary is probablt because you went off to the Scarlet Moon, which Maximillian KNights were formed and if i can get Gary and Maximillions age, i could be that Max is garys son
