Does anyone here know where the hell Millie got her marine hat? Not that I'm nitpicking, I just find it sexy on her, specially with her blue blouse and skirt.

I came up with a theory, though it's highly unlikely.

Mel is Millie's daughter.

Thinking about it, Meg and Millie traveled to Crystal Valley together.
Before or after that they must have stayed in some inn
where they met a couple of guys, then had an H-thing with them (pardon the pun)
Because of that, Meg got pregnant to Belle, but nothing said about Millie being pregnant as well.
Mel has almost the same clothes as Millie, minus the marine hat.
Both of them have weird pets.
Millie has the eight-eyed groundhog Bonaparte, while Mel has the evil doll Branky.
I wonder what happened to Bonaparte, though. Maybe he got a bride of his own?

Millie was born is IS 447, while Mel was born in IS 461. Now let me ask you: Is it possible for a 13-year-old to get pregnant and deliver the baby safely? Because if Millie can't deliver it safely, then she would have died, and whoever took care of this baby (probably Meg?) gave her Millie's clothes as memento of her mother. Not sure about the marine hat, though. Otherwise, this scenario is impossible if it's impossible to impregnate a 13-year-old girl like that.

It is possible for 13year old girls to get pregnant, even though a bit unlikely.

But you're right there are some similarities between the two. Also, Millie journeyed to the Grasslands and that's where Mel comes from (I guess...). Still I don't think they are related, Millie and her character is just a bit of an inspiration for Mels character.
