Gantetsu's stats are a disrespect to Sagacious Lu Da.

Gantetsu's appearance and the fact that he was kicked out of his monastery show that he is undoubtedly based on Sagacious Lu from Outlaws of the Marsh (though Viktor holds Lu's official star I think).

Why is the guy based on one of the most bad-ass fighters from the novel such a sucky dude? They made Gantetsu a staff-wielding mage like that emo-wimp Luc, Gantetsu's weapon is not a staff it's a huge-ass iron stick. Gantetsu should have had stats more like Fu-Su-Lu (based on Li Kui) from suikoden 1.

This offended me so much I actually read that guy's save state hacking guide on gamefaqs and edited my save to fix Gantetsu's HP/STR/DEF to correspond to that of the character he's based on.

well he gets 3 rune slots and a weapon rune slot which allows him to be one of the strongest characters in the game. Thanks for the info on Lu Da though.
