size of highland

was there more of highland than what we saw cause it was way to small(2 villages and a capital)to house all that military and its many people

What we see in Suikoden 2 is all there is to see of Highland. By the way, they don't show all the towns and villages in the game. Plot-wise, Highland is supposed to have just as many people as Jowston.

i somehow didn't think kyaro had as many people as a major city

Kyaro's population is 7000, so it compares right up to Rockaxe's 7400 and Greenhill's 8000. You can find out population of Suikoden 2 towns at the main site's geography guide.
