I've seen that map before, but the location on it of Magician's Isle is correct? is canon? when i beated S3 years ago i thought the same, that the tower was the same one of S1.

The location of the Magician's Isle is indeed canon. It's been included in official maps a number of times. The first beeing the Genso Suikoden World Guide published back in 2001.
